This week we took part in the RSPB's Big Garden Birdwatch. We counted the birds in the playground and then looked at different ways of displaying the information in charts.
You can read more about it on the Green Swans blog here.
I just did the Big Garden Birdwatch at home. I sisn't see any birds at first - I think they were sheltering from the snow. Then I saw some greenfinches and a robin.
So good to see you are feeding the birds and taking part in the bird count. I like the flappers some of you made. Is it my imagination or are the birds in your playground trying to work out how to play hopscotch? It looks like it from the photo where they are feeding. Well done all. Sue Whitworth. This is the blog for the Primary 3/4 class at Glaitness School for the academic year 2009-10. We hope you enjoy reading about what we have been doing.
We would love it if people left comments on our blog.
We have a link school in Canada. It is the Outma Sqilx'w Cultural School in Penticton in the Okanagan region of British Columbia. We are hoping that the pupils in our link school will be able to read our blog and leave comments too.
